Rawalpindi Test tickets Rs200 will go on sale from Friday, as the Pakistan Cricket Board opens ticket sales for the first Test against Sri Lanka. The PCB announced that tickets for the first Test will go on sale from 2pm on Friday, and physical tickets can be bought at designated TCS Express Centres in Rawalpindi and Islamabad. The price is the same for all five days, and it is low enough for many fans to watch a full day of Test cricket for the cost of a simple meal.

The Pakistan Cricket Board made the announcement on 5 November, and it gave fans clear details on where to buy tickets and how much they will cost. The first Test will begin at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Monday 9 November, and it will run until 13 November. The second Test will take place at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore from 17 to 21 November. Both games are part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27, so they carry points that matter for the world standings.

Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will host the opening match, and it is a ground that many fans know well. The stadium has hosted many Test matches, and it is close to Islamabad, so fans from both cities can travel to the ground. The first Test is the first home Test of the year for Pakistan, and it comes after the team played seven Tests overseas in 2026. For fans in Rawalpindi, it is a chance to see the national team at home after a long wait.

The ICC World Test Championship is the competition that gives these two Tests their context. Pakistan are currently ranked ninth among ten teams in the ICC Test rankings, and they occupy the bottom position in the World Test Championship standings. Sri Lanka are seventh in the standings, and both teams are already out of contention for the World Test Championship final. That does not make the series less important, because both teams want to climb the table and rebuild confidence after a difficult year.

TCS Express Centres are the main place to buy physical tickets, and the PCB has named the locations for fans. Physical tickets will be available at the TCS Express Centre on Kashmir Road in Saddar, Rawalpindi, as well as the Box Office at Aviation Ground on Rawal Road. Fans can also buy tickets at designated TCS Express Centres in Islamabad. The PCB said details of ticket sales for the second Test in Lahore will be shared later, so fans who want to watch in Lahore will have to wait for that announcement.

The ticket price is Rs200 per day for the General, First Class, Premium and VIP enclosures, which is unusual because all four enclosures cost the same. The General enclosures are named Miran Bakhsh and Sohail Tanvir, the First Class enclosures are Shoaib Akhtar and Yasir Arafat, the Premium enclosures are Azhar Mahmood and Javed Miandad, and the VIP enclosures are Imran Khan and Javed Akhtar. Tickets for the PCB Gallery, located in the stadium main building, will cost Rs800 per person per day, which is the only higher price on offer.

The series marks Sri Lanka first Test tour of Pakistan since 2019, and that makes it a special occasion for both teams. Sri Lanka have already played a three day warm up match against the PCB Patron XI at the Islamabad Club from 4 to 6 November, to get used to local conditions. The warm up gave the visitors a chance to practise in Pakistan conditions, and it gave Pakistan Test hopefuls a chance to press their case for selection before the first Test.

For Pakistan, the series is a chance to start a rebuild in Test cricket. The team lost six of its seven Tests in 2026, and head coach Mike Hesson has asked for fast tracks for both home Tests. The opening combination is also set for a change, with Azan Awais and Abdullah Fazal emerging as leading contenders to open the innings. The squad announced on 24 October is led by Babar Azam as captain, and it includes new faces who will be watched closely by fans in Rawalpindi.

In the coming days, the items to watch will be how quickly the Rs200 tickets sell out, whether the PCB announces ticket details for the Lahore Test, and whether the first Test in Rawalpindi draws a good crowd for all five days. For now, the Rawalpindi Test tickets Rs200 offer gives fans a simple and cheap way to watch Test cricket at home, with tickets on sale from Friday at 2pm, and the first ball due on Monday 9 November.
